Death An Inside Story: Sadhguru
People seek spirituality, according to the author, since they are aware that they eventually die.
What Exactly Is Death?
The most fundamental question is about death. People, on the other hand, can choose to ignore it, avoid it, and continue to live in ignorance since all kinds of ridiculous tales have been propagated across the world in the name of religion.
The Most Fundamental Question Concerning Death
do you have any idea that you will die one day? Oh, I wish you a long life, but you will die at some point. We cant be sure about other things in your life. We don't know if you'll marry or not, whether you'll obtain a job or not, whether you'll be successful or not, but one thing is certain in your life:In the world, two people die every second. And one day, it will happen to you and me as well. Knowing this does not need extensive investigation, intellect, or even education. Every human being possesses this information. Despite this, we believe humans have an indefinite life span. The Mahabharata, an Indian epic, perfectly expresses this predicament.
Death An Inside Story Summary: Sadhguru
The book's slogan also reads, "A book for all those who will die." When people asked Sadhguru questions about death, rebirths, previous incarnations, and other topics, he would laugh about it and go on to the next inquiry. I had assumed that Sadhguru did not believe in any of this, but this full-fledged book had come as a complete surprise to me, therefore I was looking forward to reading it.
When it comes to Death, you'd think someone could describe it in 40-50 pages, and what else could there be to say about something that happens so quickly that we don't even notice it? Also, we believe that Death is the end, so why dwell on it? All we desire is to be healthy when we die.But Sadhguru takes us on a 375-page journey to explain something about this one-word phenomenon known as "Death." That's enormous!
I've never believed that living and dying are spiritually distinct experiences, and that if we live well, our death has nothing to do with it, and that our next life, if one exists, would be based on how we lived our prior life. Through this book, I've come to understand how we die and what happens to us in the moments leading up to and even days after we die.
Even if we have led a spiritually good life, it has an influence on our soul and energy, and it might be important for them to survive happily after we die. Sadhguru approaches all issues in a lighthearted and enlightening manner, making it simple for us to read the book, even if a few chapters are a little heavy or gloomy to understand and swallow. The concepts of numerous karmas, koshas, kinds of bodies, Vayus, chakras, and how death occurs at one of these concepts' stages has an impact on our energies later on astounded me. Sadhguru is also unafraid to speak openly about rebirth, reincarnation, samadhi, mahasamadhi, ghosts, spirits, suicide, murder, and the afterlife.
He also discloses how his wife, as well as a number of other close friends and family members, willingly left their bodies in that state. He also talks about how select persons in higher positions of administration may have their bodies vanish in an instant.
Now, in terms of certain flaws,
I must mention that this book is intended for individuals who have already read or heard Sadhguru; otherwise, understanding his terminology would be difficult. Second, most of the time Sadhguru does not go into depth just to pique people's interest and encourage them to visit the Isha Yoga centre or enrol in his classes in order to have a deeper understanding of the subject. If you are a spiritual person, I feel that your book should be free – if not, at the very least, don't use it as a brochure for your foundation's many programmes. Finally, a couple of the occurrences that Sadhguru mentions, such as individuals leaving their bodies or burning and then vanishing in front of him, appear to be false because there is no proof and no one has told us about such events occurring in front of them.I realise that we are not spiritually grown enough to know whether or not anything is genuine, but things like this should be expressed with proofs or references. Also, I couldn't agree with a lot of what he says about himself in terms of previous lives and how he has already lived more than he needs to and will never return to the earth.
Sadhguru book review summary ending
“There is no doubt that whatever occurs spontaneously is always correct. It's just that your short-term goals and ambitions may be out of sync with what's going on, causing you to struggle. But it can't be inaccurate in the true sense. Nature does not make decisions based on ideas and emotions, thus it always progresses in the proper direction. It just makes decisions based on your preferences.
Sadhguru's Death: An Inside Story is more akin to a symbolic present that keeps unravelling as each layer of wrapping is unwrapped. The depth of one's knowledge, amount of spiritual engagement, and rigidity of underlying belief systems all influence how long it takes (months or years) to unravel each layer of packaging and reach the main message (maybe).
It lives up to its title, "A book for All Those Who Will Die," by providing a unique perspective on many neglected themes through Sadhguru's Yogic knowledge, long before one is forced to face the inevitable. As a result, it's a good idea to reread at regular intervals to see how much has unravelled since the last reading and how much still has to be unravelled.
thank you for reading
